If you're an adventurous sort who wants to get the most out of one awesome week, this brief but eventful adventure is just the ticket. Take in two of southern Africa's most famous sites - the Kruger National Park and breathtaking Victoria Falls. Search for the Big Five and uncover this region's breathtaking natural beauty. This adventure is short on time, but long on excitement, and is sure to thrill.

Itinerary

Day 1 Johannesburg:
The adventure begins in the bustling streets of South Africa's largest city. Perhaps arrive early to visit the nearby town of Soweto and learn about the country's recent history.

Days 2-3 Kruger National Park:
Travel along the breathtaking Panorama Route bound for the famous Kruger. Stop by the Blyde River Canyon, a spectacular 30 km-long stretch that carves its way through the land and offers breathtaking vistas. Explore the golden Kruger grasslands, where glimpses of lions, zebras and rhinos are possible. Take safaris to discover why this park is reputed to have the greatest variety of animals of any park in Africa. As the sun begins to dip, take an optional night drive and try to spot the wealth of nocturnal animals as they come out to play.

Day 4 Polokwane Game Reserve:
The safari continues on to Polokwane for more animal-spotting. Explore the reserves natural delights and try to spot the 21 wildlife species that call this reserve home - including zebras, giraffes and white rhinos.

Day 5 Nata:
Cross the border into Botswana at Martin's Drift. Cross the Limpopo River and set up camp in the Nata region in the early evening.

Days 6-7 Victoria Falls/Livingstone:
Live it up in Livingstone and cap off the adventure with a visit to the spectacular Victoria Falls. Get soaked by the rising mist and marvel at the deafening roar of the falls - an experience that surpasses all expectations. Optional adventure activities abound in action-packed Livingstone, so perhaps celebrate the trip with rafting, canoeing or bungee jumping.
